This article will help you learn how to create user groups and manage their permissions in your Kohezion account.
Creating user groups will help you save a lot of time when you need to manage permissions. Instead of managing the permissions one user at a time, you can do it for a whole group of users.
To create a new user group, go to the “Administration” tab and then to the “Security” tab. Select the “User Groups” tab. Simply click “New”.
You must now name your new user group, select the users you want to be part of this user groups and save.
You then want to give some project permissions to your new user group. To do so, click on the second tab, “Permissions”. For each project you can give different permissions to your user group. Simply select the desired project and select the permissions you want to give.
You can also edit the project permissions, from a project, under the “Security” tab. Go to the “Projects Permissions” tab. Double click on a project and select the required user group and associated permissions. Apply and save.
You now have all the knowledge needed to create your user groups and manage their permissions.
