The perceptions and opportunities

During the past year, I traveled a bit. I felt that I had to leave the comfort of my home to explore new territories. I thought food would taste better, landscapes would look prettier and people would be nicer everywhere around the world. My hometown felt boring. I sure tasted great food, saw incredible sceneries and met amazing people. I learned so much about other cultures and mostly about myself. What I didn’t expect is that at some point, I missed that boring hometown. I missed drinking water straight out of the faucet. I missed my espresso machine. And I realized that I have an exceptional circle of people around me at home. Home is not boring anymore. I changed my perceptions. Think about it, anything or anyone you have overlooked lately? Opportunities?
